What are Badge Bounties?
Games that have received badges from Kongregate can create badge bounties. Badge bounties are bonuses given out by you from your blocks balance to your players as they complete your game’s badges.
Bounties give a sense of fun & urgency to your players. Unlike regular badges, bounties are time-sensitive and only available for as long as there are blocks available within the bounty.
A Block icon is shown in the badge wherever it’s listed and in the Games Browser listing. Games with badge bounties are also included in the "Featured" category, increasing their visibility on Kongregate.com
How to set up a Badge Bounty
You can set Block Bounties under the "Dev" section of the main menu, or under https://www.kongregate.com/accounts/[YOURUSERNAME]/badge_bounties.
A bounty can be added to any pre-existing badge. In order to set a bounty, you must have Blocks in your wallet.
Developers can set the bounty amount that each badge is worth (i.e, how many Blocks players will receive upon completing the badge), and the maximum amount of Blocks that can be awarded.
A minimum amount of blocks required to set up a bounty, depending on the badge's difficulty.
- Easy - 250 Blocks
- Medium - 250 Blocks
- Hard - 500 Blocks
- Impossible - 1000 Blocks
