New Games
The following games have been added to the site since the last update round-up:
Our team is looking for more opportunities to bring great games into the spotlight and continue to support independent game developers everywhere. If you are interested in getting your projects added to Kongregate.com, please get in touch with us at bd@kongregate.com.
New Badges
Badges have been added to the following games:
New Kongpanions!
Our first new Kongpanion in two years has joined the rest of the krew! Say hello to Broiler.
Don't forget to pre-heat!
New Kongpanions will be joining the site every other Monday, so be on the lookout for another new buddy on April 24th.
You can also visit the #who-is-that-kongpanion channel of our Discord the Thursday before any new Kongpanion release to see a preview outline. Fill in the outline with whatever you think the next Kongpanion will be, give your creation a name, and share it with the community. We'll be featuring our favorites during our weekly livestreams!
New Game by Kongregate
With so many great new games coming to the site, we wanted to join in on the fun ourselves! Please Don't Eat Me is a new game from The Kongregate Squad where you save adorable (and unfortunately delicious) 3D Kongpanions from being cooked by Chef NoGusto. It's been recently updated as well!
Expansion of Discord Widget
After a successful test run on Spellstone, we've expanded our Discord integration to more games:
To join in on the conversation, simply click the Discord icon in the bottom, right-hand corner of your screen. That will expand the widget to let you see what other players are discussing. If you log in with your Discord account, you can chat as well.
Kongregate on Reddit
We have yet another new way to communicate to you. Checkout our new subreddit, r/kongregateofficial, for announcements and discussions related to anything and everything Kongregate!
Women's History and GDC
During International Women’s Day, our own Fernanda Contreras had the opportunity to speak at the UN! You can read more about Fernanda’s story on what it was like to kickstart the gaming industry in Latin America in this article. We remain committed to empowering women in the gaming industry - read more about our efforts here.
Finally, thank you to everyone who came by our booth at the Game Developers Conference. We had a wonderful time!
